Study Permit
Study permit or also referred as Student Visa allows you to visit Canada as student and study at a school, college or university. Every year 100,000s of study permits are applied for Canada. The students come to explore the opportunities Canada provide for their study and career.
To apply for study permits you must meet certain requirements such as:
- You must be accepted by a designated learning institute (school, college or university approved by Canada immigration to accept foreign students)
- Show financial records to prove that you have enough money to pay your tuition fee and living expenses during your stay in Canada
- You must not have a criminal record and provide a police clearance certificate
- Meet language requirements.
- You must be in good health and do a medical examination
There are other requirement you must meet and follow during application and while you study in Canada. You may be eligible to work for up to 20 hours while you study. Also you may be also to receive a post-graduation work permit upon completing your studies.
