Quebec-Selected Skilled workers Program
Province of Quebec has a separate agreement with government of Canada under which Quebec can choose the skilled worker who can contribute well to the province. The skilled workers who want to live in Quebec can apply under this category.
Quebec has a specific criteria to asses and qualify skilled worker for permanent residency. For permanent residency you must do the application in two steps:
- Apply to Government of Quebec for Quebec selection certificate which certify that Quebec has accepted you as immigrant (Certificat de sélection du Québec [CSQ])
- After receiving CSQ you must apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada for permanent residence.
