Provincial Nominee Program

The province can nominate a worker under provincial nominee program for the residency of Canada. When you are nominated under PNP you receive extra points in you Permanent residency application.

Who can apply?

Each province and territory have their own criteria to assess and nominate workers. Criteria is based on skills, education and work experience and used to target workers who can contribute to the economy of specific province.

PNP application

Under Provincial Nominee program depending on the requirements you meet, you can either apply for a paper-based application or online application through express entry.

Paper based
After you get nominated under this category, you have to submit your paper application for PR, with all the required documents and show that you have been nominated
The application process is longer for paper-based application

Express Entry process
If you get nominated under this category you can apply for express entry program online and show that you have been nominated
