Agri-Food Pilot Program

This program is launched to address the labor needs of Canadian agriculture and food sector. If you are a non-seasonal experience worker in eligible industry and occupation you may be able to apply for permanent residence under this program. Some of the industries eligible under this pilot program are :

  • Meat product manufacturing
  • floriculture production, including mushroom production.
  • animal production, excluding:
    • aquaculture,
    • cattle ranching and farming
    • hog and pig farming
    • poultry and egg production
    • sheep and goat farming
    • other animal production
    Program requires you to meet certain requirements such as:

  • Canadian Work experience in one or more of eligible industries and occupations
  • A full time non season job offer from Canadian employer
  • Meet language requirements
  • Meet education requirements
  • Some financial funds for living (if applicable)

There are some other requirement that you must meet to be qualified.
